Executive Director, Clinical Network Development

UNM Medical Group, Inc. is hiring for an Executive Director of Clinical Network Development to join our Health Sciences Center team! This opportunity is a full-time (1.0FTE) opening.

Minimum Experience Requirements of an Executive Director of Clinical Network Development:

  • 10 years direct experience in network development, strategic planning, and/or outreach for a health system. Completed degree from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Verification of education and licensure (if applicable) will be required if selected for hire.
  • Must have valid NM driver’s license.

Summary

Under direction of the Health System Executive Physician in Chief and in collaboration with the Health System Executive Leadership Team and Strategic Development Office, this Director will be responsible for planning, development, and implementation of selected external clinical and business projects and opportunities in accordance with the Health System strategic plan, to include:

Duties and Responsibilities of an Executive Director of Clinical Network Development:

  • Evaluation and assessment of clinical partnerships and business opportunities;
  • Development of strategic plans and work plans associated with assigned projects;
  • Implementation of assigned key initiatives to include operations and management of current projects;
  • Provide clinical oversight for assigned projects and initiatives;
  • Serves as clinical and administrative liaison for external administration during all phases of projects;
  • Serves as clinical and administrative liaison for internal and external providers;
  • Serve as project coordinator as assigned;
  • Provide oversight for regulatory compliance, risk, utilization review, and marketing of assigned projects;
  • Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and monitoring of programs;
  • Determining equipment and IT needs for projects.
  • Assists in building and maintaining strong relationships with external customers and partners.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
