UNM Medical Group, Inc. is hiring for a Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool. This opportunity is a full-time day shift opening located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
*Sign-on Bonus Available*
Minimum $77,940 - Midpoint $99,332*
*Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.
*Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.

Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient care in procedural and operating room settings, collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care. The RN coordinates nursing services, manages transitions of care, and supports patient and family education. They serve as a clinical resource, ensuring adherence to national quality standards, and participate in quality improvement projects. The RN also assists with documentation, promotes workplace safety, and represents the clinic at community health events.
Minimum Job Requirements of a Registered Nurse:
Associate degree in nursing with at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). If Dental, Pediatric Life Support (PALS) is also required. (Certifications must include hands on training and be obtained within 30 days of hire). Completed degree from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Verification of education and licensure (if applicable) will be required if selected for hire.
